Our Mission
Horses Healing Humans
Relentless Equestrian Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating positive and transformative experiences through equine-assisted therapy, and to rescuing a number of exotic and farm animals. We serve veterans, first responders, children of military parents with one or both parents deployed, children with disabilities, and adults with disabilities, helping to build resilience, foster healing, and support personal growth.
At Relentless Equestrian Foundation, we believe deeply in the healing power of horses, exotic animals, and farm animals. Our programs are crafted to offer therapeutic support and compassionate guidance to those who often face significant physical, emotional, or psychological challenges. Our work with veterans and first responders is aimed at alleviating symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression, providing them with a safe, accepting space to reconnect with themselves and others. For children with disabilities, equine-assisted activities encourage self-confidence, enhance motor skills, and offer a sense of empowerment. Similarly, for adults with disabilities, our programs promote physical coordination, emotional well-being, and social connection.
Our Founder
Founded by Jeannette Jarnes,
our foundation is deeply rooted in a love for animals and a commitment to serving the Brevard County community.
Jeannette’s journey began with the purchase of a multi-generational farm, wanting to preserve the farm land as a sanctuary for both animals and the community. Spending time with animals had always been a source of happiness for her, and she wanted to create a place where the joy of animals could be shared with others.
Inspired by her experiences, Jeannette established a unique therapy program in partnership with Dr. Michele Leone, DNP-RN, LMHC that harnesses the gentle and nurturing nature of horses and farm animals to help individuals heal and grow.
Jeannette's vision is clear: to create a forever home for animals saved from neglect and to ensure that every individual who visits our farm feels welcomed and loved.
Community Impact
Our programs are designed to support a diverse range of individuals, including children facing bullying, military families coping with deployment, veterans seeking connection and healing, first responders, and those in foster care who may need a place to feel safe and loved.
Our therapy initiatives have shown that interactions with animals can significantly improve emotional well-being, offering comfort and understanding to those who need it most.
Through our partnership with other local nonprofits like Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement, we work to uplift families and children across our community. We believe that everyone deserves a place to belong, and our foundation serves as a beacon of hope for those who may feel lost or isolated.
A Forever Home for Animals
At Relentless Equestrian Stables, we are committed to the care and protection of our animal friends. Many of our animals have been rescued from slaughterhouses or surrendered by owners who could no longer care for them. We believe in providing these animals a safe haven, ensuring they will always have a home filled with compassion and kindness.
