Stable Moments

 We are proud to partner with Stable Moments, a trauma-informed mentorship program dedicated to helping foster and adopted children build essential life skills. With nearly 400,000 children in U.S. foster care, many face an uncertain future without the support they need to thrive.

Stable Moments aims to break the cycle of adversity by offering children a consistent, caring mentor who helps them develop self-worth, emotional regulation, and the skills to successfully transition into adulthood.

Stable Moments is a 10-month, weekly mentorship program designed specifically for children in foster care. The program pairs each child with a dedicated mentor who meets with them for one hour each week. Through individualized mentorship, foster and adopted children gain the confidence and tools they need to overcome the challenges they face.

The program’s core components include:

• Trauma-Informed Curriculum: Addressing the unique needs of each child.
   
• Color-Coded Activities: Tailored to a child’s specific life goals and skill development.
   
• Consistent Weekly Sessions: Providing stability and a trusted adult in their life.
   
• Focus on Key Life Skills: Self-worth, responsibility, emotional regulation, and decision-making.
